Weekend always goes as fast as they can come. In a blink of an eye, it is Monday again.
These few days I am really on a Tekken splurge.
I only slept at 8am today and so I woke up at 2plus when Noble called me and I bathed and went out to meet him for lunch at Bishan Junction 8.
When we reached Bishan, we had lunch first at KFC as we have said so earlier and went up to Virtualand for Tekken 6. There is really nobody at Bishan to play with to promote my ranks. Today I managed to promote my Law back to 4th dan after demoting Noble's King to 2nd dan and during some of the processes I even let him use my King.
We played all our characters all the way till 6.50pm before leaving to home.

Tekken Splash!
Friday and Saturday were really crazy days.
On Friday, after work, Alan, Boon Kai, Kiat Peng, Song Peng and I arranged to meet at Bugis to play Tekken 6. I didn't eat dinner at all but just played the entire day at the Virtualand. Mostly I depended on Milk Tea to quench my thirst. I think my skills are improving but I don't know whether I should continue using cards to play for every single game. Is it a good thing or a bad thing?
Today all my parents and my grandparents went in to Malaysia so there're only left with my Brother, me and my sister at home. Waking up at 10plus, I used my computer until 12plus before leaving to meet Alan for lunch and then going to Jurong Point Virtualand for Tekken session.
Initially, we were meeting at 11am but the timing was constantly changing and the weather was rainy and unforeseeable so there were a lot of delays. Song Peng was already waiting for us at Jurong Point Virtualand. I did not manage to get all my cards promoted today, especially my Yoshimitsu. Yoshimitsu had 2 times promotion but I kept on losing it at the crucial moment.
My Hwoarang card was promoted to Mentor but in the end, as a result of using my Paul and playing against Alan, my Paul got promoted to Master and Hwoarang got demoted back to 4th dan. Before that my Law got demoted to 3rd dan by Alan. Lee also had demotion chance but I did not want to demote my card so I just let the promotion chance be saved.
The only bad thing about using cards all the times is that I tend to lose out during ranking matches as my cards already had a lot of losses beforehand and demotion risks are precedented.
At 8plus, Alan and I went for dinner at Benten cafe and of course the set meal that we ordered was good and expensive as well.
After that we went back for a few more games before going back home.
Next weekends will be busy! I will be going Jurong Point again with Alan on Saturday and going for Bishan Heights Mini RC for Scrabble Competition on Sunday.
>Can I get to the rank that I want?

Grandeur 8 Scrabble Competition 2011
Look at all the 10 pictures of different Scrabble boards for the 10 games played at Grandeur 8 today. The different boards were simply magnificent. I prefer black boards and colourful tiles, just like the 5th game.
1st Game: No bingo missed.
2nd Game: Cooper- means to make barrels. No bingo missed.
3rd Game: Tift- means to lunch. No bingo missed.
4th Game: Another annagram for Hankerer- Harkener. Harkener- means one that listens. Hankerer means one who hankers (to long for). No bingo missed.
5th Game: Missed Grilses- means a young salmon.
6th Game: No bingo missed.
7th Game: Missed Booners- means a young working class person from Canberra. Missed Borneol- means alcohol used in perfumes. Missed Parvise- means an enclosed area in front of a church , also Parvis. Missed Paviser- a soldier carrying a Pavis.
8th Game: Missed Coition- meaning sexual intercourse (WOW). Missed Tawnily- in a tawny manner. Missed Flutina- means a type of accordion. Missed Nuptial- means a wedding. Missed Quintal- means one hundred kilograms. Missed Unvital- means not vital.
9th Game: Missed Coterie- an exclusive circle.
10th Game: Missed Resolute- means one who is resolute is characterized by firmness or determination [Resoluter, Resolutest]. More importantly, the annagrams for A,E,E,I,L,N,R,T are only ELATERIN, ENTAILER and TREENAIL.
Now I really have the feeling of improving my Scrabble skills further. Let's aim for the best in the shortest years' time as possible.
After the competition, Goutham and I went to swim in the swimming pool inside Grandeur 8 and the temperature of the water was just freaking cold! Haha we swam all the way till 8pm before bathing and leaving and it was really super fun!
Thereafter when we reached Yishun, initially I wanted to eat Macdonalds with Goutham but he last minute did not wanted to eat so I just bought Long John Silvers back home to eat.
Hopefully I can join some overseas tourneys to improve myself/ get more exposure or if luckily, wins more prizes.
>Next target is the Singapore Open Scrabble Championship.

Impending Grandeur 8!

I felt like decades ever since I last updated my blog.
Last Friday and this Friday were the best since Boon Kai, Kiat Peng, Alan and I could all meet at Bugis in the evening for Tekken session.
Yesterday I did not "chiong" as much compared to when fighting against Eevil since I think that I rather play a few good games properly rather than playing a lot and losing hastily. The first game was simply awesome winning Anthony's Law using my Yoshimitsu.
A while later at around 7plus, Boon Kai, Kiat Peng, Alan, Kelvin and I went upstairs to the Food Junction for dinner and later returned to Virtualand for more games.
I realised I was already tired when I returned after dinner. I guess people are like that. They get tired after filling up their stomaches/ getting full.
In any case, my Paul has gotten 5000*20= 100000G and Lucky Roulette during the Roulette spin. This is the rarest situation ever gotten from Roulette spinning. I do hope that my Roulette will last forever. :)
Later at around 11.40pm, all of us went home by the last train to Joo Koon and last train to Jurong East. I think this day was really one of the luckiest day for us.
Today a Tekken 6 PS3 Competition was held at the Expo for Tekken players. Unfortunately I cannot even afford the $10 entry fee. (+LOSS)Perfection told me to join but sadly I cannot. The place is also too far away.
I can see my improvement in Tekken 6 after attending the Bugis Virtualand Tekken area. Hehe. It is always the best to train with people stronger than you to make further improvements.
Today officially I have finished all Masked Rider Kabuto's episodes, special episodes and movies. Should I ask my brother for more Kamen Rider's shows? They are simply fantastic.
In the evening at around 5.30pm, my Aunt called me out for dinner together at Ah Mei's Cafe right beside KFC in Northpoint. We had a long chat until 7.30pm before she went back home to Sembawang. All the casual talk has made me serious and thoughtful about my future education and career path.
Tomorrow is Grandeur 8 Scrabble Competition held at the Condo right beside Nanyang Polytechnic. I hope I can do better this time round.
I feel like buying the above drama show to watch although it is broadcasted on the Television Channel U now.
>Let's hope for the best after trying our best!

Loving Tekken 6 at Bugis!
Yesterday marks the end of 2nd week. Every friday, I will definitely go to Bugis Virtualand for Tekken session.
Yesterday I met Song Peng there and I bought his Law card for $5. I realised I am good at playing Law for a character. It will definitely be one of my main character other than Yoshimitsu, Paul, King and Lee. So in total I will have 5 characters for concentration now, not counting in Roger Junior, Hwoarang and Devil Jin just yet.
At around 7plus we went to eat at the Food Junction before returning for more games. It is certainly interesting seeing Fantasy fight against Jian Hua even though the winner was already somewhat predictable.
Alan, Kiat Peng and I also tried playing ranking matches against one another while Boon Kai just played at the other side by himself.
If only the time for Friday night is Infinite! <3ing it! :D
Tomorrow the whole family is going to my Grandmother's house at Sembawang for dinner. Let's hope for more crabs and more movies! Wow!
