Dinner at Causeway Point

Today I went out to meet my youngest uncle at coffee shop 925 for lunch.
Thereafter at around 1.15pm, my uncle came from his friend's hi-fi shop nearby and we chatted about army stuffs while eating all the way till approximately 2pm when I left to meet Noble at Khatib mrt station on the way to Bishan Junction 8 for a Tekken session.
As Noble had not had his lunch yet, I accompanied him for late lunch first at Subway before going up to Virtualand.
Practice makes perfect. My Giant Swing input just seems to get better and better and I will try to use it more often whenever I can. My King card has finally finished with its play count and there is really not much addiction to play Tekken 6 anymore, even though I have tons of cards with play counts to finish.
Later we went home at around 5.20pm as Noble was going to gym with Zaki who kind of interrupted our Tekken session.
As I was about to stay at home to watch my Hong Kong Drama on Laughing's police story, my parents brought us out for dinner at Causeway Point and so my mum could bring us around to shop for stuffs to buy for the new year celebration this coming Sunday during our family gathering.
Shopping at Metro took up a lot of time as I waited alone at the Customer Service area to wrap up the Family Present that our side of the family had prepared for this Sunday celebration while my mum and sister went to buy stuffs at Gifts to Name.
Later we went to Level 1 to look for shoes and clothes to buy but time is just never enough.
Subsequently, my dad came to pick us up at the roadside after his Taiji lesson and we went over to Woodlands Carpark at my uncle's house to warm up his car engine as he went overseas together with his family and will only be back on Saturday.
We went over to Sembawang at my Grandma's house for a short while and I watched a little bit of the Planet of the Apes which is a current movie this year 2011.
In a few days time, it will be 2012. May this year be a smoothful, fruitone and enjoyable one for everyone, especially me! Haha!
All right! Back to watching my drama shows....
Tomorrow's not a day for Bugis night, rather it is for exercise time (badminton with Goutham).

Free Access Rights to Tekken.net/ Giant Swing's better and better

Initially I don't intend to go anywhere today but stay at home and rot, or doing something fruitfully. I've rejected Syaq and Song Peng to go to Bugis Virtualand today but I just went out when Boon Kai asked me to.
I went to Northpoint Timezone and saw Shi Chen there playing. The life bar at Timezone is way lesser and the damage done by 1 character is equivalent to 2 characters done in Bugis. Bugis always has the best standards as ever.
After Boon Kai reached Timezone at around 3.20pm, he tried playing the Tekken Tag 2 machine there before we left to take the mrt train to Bugis.
As usual, there are all the Tekken fanatics and pros there. Song Peng and Syaq were already there playing and i tried playing with Syaq but I lost quite a couple of times.
I tried out the Tekken 6 BR machine as well. My giant swing command seems to be improving further. As the proverb goes, practice makes perfect. I will use it on Tekken Tag 2 whenever I have the chance to do so.
Later Lotion came and she told me to play with her so I was down to quite a lot of games with her all the way till around 8.30pm and managed to pump my Paul and Law's wins up to a reasonable percentage. Thank Buddha for giving me all the chances to get a reasonable good score. Now my ranking is 110th. I wonder if I should try playing competitively~
Today the sites rights to the Tekken.net is opened and I can finally customise all my setting according to the way I want. All right, now to wait for 4am to change my name to a permanent one forever.

>Now's left with a few days to the end of 2 weeks term break. Life will be back to normal school life then~

Pepper Lunch, Pool and LAN with Noble, Leonard and Qi Yuan!

Today's a nice day eating Pepper Lunch for dinner, playing pool and Lan at Good Speed Cafe together with Noble, Leonard and Qi Yuan.
There is one upcoming movie on 5 Jan 2011, called the Special Forces. I think we will meet up very soon to go for movie and dinner this time round next week.
Then again, school's reopening next week even though we only need to return for a few days. Reminding me is my homework has not yet been done and I am unprepared for the 2nd assessment at Hendon Camp on 17 Jan 2012.
I don't know when I will be blogging again but I hope that 2012 will be a good and prosperous year for me. Countdown's coming this Saturday and I think it should be the same celebrating with Noble and Preston.

Bought Tekken Tag 2 Card again!

As usual, my prediction never fail me. I some what predicted that there will be free $30 for $30 top-up today to maybe Sunday. There is really the promotion and I topped up $30 for the free $30 and bought a new Tekken Tag 2 card as well.
Although it was crazy to go to Bugis Virtualand at 12plus and stay all the way till 11.30pm at night, I think it is quite fruitful this time round. I got 2 tag team partners right now. One is Armor King and King. The other is Paul and Law. King and Armor King is the wisest tag team choice I have ever made.
Today I tried playing against a "noob" first who in the end turned up to be a pro instead and I played with some other "noobs" to gain more wins and also played Song Peng with free credits and his last credit. I managed to win and later Preston played with me and I managed to get promoted all the way till 1st Dan and accumulate a reasonable percentage of wins.
At night, I played ranking matches with Boon Kai and he got promoted to 2nd dan and thereafter it's my turn to promote to 2nd dan but I lost the chance to promote to 3rd dan though.
Thereafter, we had to catch the last bus and Boon Kai had to lose to the fucking wait Mishima Family guy who doesn't know what the hell is going on.
My energy just felt so drained in the bus on the journey back home. Time to rest after my hair is dried up and tomorrow's another long day at Bugis again:)

Change in Tekken Tag 2 Policy!

Today I just received an email regarding the change in Tekken Tag 2 card policy. In a few weeks time, the access to Tekken.Net will be free and we will then be able to change name and customisation using the site for free.
These few days, I have been going to Bugis with Song Peng for Tekken 6 BR and Tekken Tag Tournament 2. I am thinking of buying a new Tekken Tag 2 card since I sold my card to Song Peng. Then again, after receiving the further notice to report to Hendon Camp for the Medical checkup and Physical Fitness assessment, I will be enlisted to National Service in only a few months time. Maybe buying a new card at this point of time is not worth it.
Later I am going to Bugis again this time round for the whole day. I shall see how then.

End of Tekken 6?

Alas holidays are spent watching free movies and playing Tekken.
My sister and I only slept at 6am the previous day as we watched the MIO Tv free movies, Mysterious Island. Surprisingly, with one glance I can tell who the female lead is, Yang Mi and my sister was still blurred about who the female cast was.
Before I left to meet Boon Kai at Northpoint Timezone to go to Bugis Virtualand, my sister and I watched the pretty female boss and it was really damn cute and epic.
SMRT Train service is unavailable today, so we have to take bus there and bus back home as well.
I think it is hard to leave something that you have been in contact with for so long and affectionate feelings towards it. The trend at Bugis nowadays is that everyone is chionging Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and no one is bothering about Tekken 6 BR at all.
Today I only played BR and mainly were ranking matches with Boon Kai and a few with Syaq. Boon Kai promoted my Law card all the way till Berserker while my Yoshimitsu and Paul got demoted. Paul card is done with his play count and I am not going to renew it anymore. I am just going to renew King card as for Tekken 6.
Should I just wait for everyone to chiong Tekken Tag 2 and join in later? I think I will just play Tekken Tag 2 whenever I go over to Bugis.

>All right, later I will be going to swim with Goutham and maybe Anirban. Time to get some exercise!

Last Day of 1st term, Sem 2 Year 3! / Mission Impossible 3- Ghost Protocol

Yesterday was officially the last day of the 1st term of Semester 2 of Year 3. Today is the offical start of the term break.
I don't know why but I just don't feel like going Bugis yesterday. I wanted to watch movies and have dinner more instead of playing Tekken, especially Tekken Tag Tournament 2.
I tried calling all my closest friends possible but apparently only Noble could make it. In the end, I went to Bishan Virtualand to play while waiting for Noble to come after his power nap at 6pm.
Song Peng also came and play as well. I tried my best but apparently it was quite hard to promote my Paul to Berserker rank. Instead my King got demoted instead but I think that is the real start for my King. I have also thought of renewing only my King card when all my cards have finished with their play counts.
Now's perhaps the time for more King action.
At 7pm, Noble and I went to have dinner first before going back for a few games at the Virtualand.
Zamir also came halfway and meet me before Noble and I had to rush for our Mission Impossible 3; Ghost Protocol at 8.50pm.
As usual, needless to say, Action-packed movies are always the best for me.
By the time we came out of our movie theatre, it was already 11.15pm and we left for home.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 ready tomorrow!/ Bought TTT2 card!

Audit ICA 1 was out today and it was pretty "chui". All the ICA results are just so "chui".
It's pretty a matter of time that I got serious in doing everything, be it studies, tekken or anything else.
While waiting for Boon Kai to be dismissed at 5.30pm, I did my CRM tutorial 7 for next monday.
I was intending to do HRM tutorial 4 as well when Boon Kai just called me and there we were on our way to Bugis~
Surprisingly, what we saw was 14 TTT2 machines. The operators were trying to connect the system but apparently there seemed to be a small problem. In any case, Boon Kai was quite "gan chiong" in buying the card and I bought it together with him. It costed $8, which is only slightly more expensive as compared to Tekken 6 BR card which sells for $7. I wonder if Tekken 6 BR will continue to co-exist with Tekken Tag Tournament 2.
Ranking matches seem to be interesting as everyone is now trying to go as high up as possible. This is the first time I experience changing to a totally brand new version of game. The feeling is kind of weird and sian as well. I think I prefer Tekken 6 Br.
Now's the time to get serious for everything! I feel like going Bugis tomorrow after completing some of my work.

Impending Tekken Tag Tournament 2!

Today is definitely not a nice day. Worst to say, I don't know why I can't fall asleep yesterday night when I went to bed at 12.15am. Instead I felt asleep later than 3am. Insomnia definitely sucks to the core!
I have just gotten back 2 ICAs results as well. Well I think you reap what you sow. These are my results for doing so many last minute stuffs.
After school today I went to Bugis and try playing ranking matches. I only ended up losing a lot to Song Peng. I guess keeping one's spirits up is definitely one of the most important thing no matter in studies or games.
Today my King got 2 promotions to Brawler rank and 4 Lucky Roulette strikes together with 2 special rage thanks to Boon Kai. I think my luck and spirit suck today but he definitely rocks to the max!
Dinner got my energy up for a bit and I played a few games with Boon Kai before Imperfection played ranking matches with him. Today was like a spectator day for me to watch all the pros battling. I think I must go all out to excel in every area that I am lacking in.

>Tomorrow will be a better day!

Dinner at Grandma's house/ Plans for Christmas Celebration

Alas I am definitely the world's best time waster in terms of coming to doing tutorials. It has been weeks ever since I last touched all the modules tutorials.
This coming week is a busy week with 2 impending ICAs, CRM ICA 1 and HRM ICA 1. Worst to say, tuesday's tutorial lessons are always the most demanding. In times like this, we have to juggle both our ICAs' preparations and tutorials for Tuesday especially. I hate to do things when I am forced to. I prefer to do it for my own good instead.
Just now was dinner at my Grandma's house. Today's crabs are running a little bit low on supplies. I don't remember eating much compared to last time. I think I ate too late this time round. As the proverb goes, the early bird catches the worm.
The subsequent event following dinner is always movie screening. Just now we watched Wu Xia followed by X-Men First Class.
Thereafter everyone left at around 10.20pm after the movie screenings and picking lots for the Christmas presents allocation.
All right, time's now to juggle for work. Play always take up 9/10 of my time. I need to cut all the last minute shit.

NS Medical Checkup/ Tekken and tekken!

All right, morning's spent on CMPB for my NS Medical Checkup.
After the medical checkup, my parents came back to fetch me and we ate our lunch at Long House.
I was already back in school by 12.30pm approximately and I went to the Library to do Audit Tutorial 4 first and Andy and the rest came over to join me.
Next time I will freaking make sure that my phone is full of battery power whenever it comes to Friday. It can be so troublesome trying to contact someone but I can't and the only thing is to wait like nobody's business.
Luckily, Kiat Peng managed to come over by 7pm before Song Peng and I went with him to dinner at Food Junction.
Tekken 6 was always as shiok but I don't think I had enough fun. I think I will just listen to Furholden and chiong 1 character. I will concentrate on my King for now on until it has improved in fighting against other people.
We played till 11.46pm before Kiat Peng and I left to take bus 851 home. Surprisingly, there were still buses in this kind of timing. The last time, Boon Kai and I went at 11.30pm and it was already long gone.
Raining days have a soothing effect when you are in the comfort of a shelter but definitely not when you are under the rain.
More action to come tomorrow at Bugis! Gonna get a new haircut as well:)

Singapore Open Scrabble Championships!

During these 2 days of competition, never in my life have I experienced such antagonizing pain and mental tiredness. The process is always as difficult but the ending is always as relieving as it always is, yesterday.
I think I was too focused on winning during the 1st day and I only won 2 games out of 8 games. During the 2nd day, I told myself that I can do well presumably that I just enjoy the games and do not give any stress to myself. Ultimately, I have really learnt a very important lesson from this tournament. Never stress yourself on winning the competition. Just think about going there to have some fun and try your very best. That will suffice.
Indeed, during the 2nd day, I won 5 out of 8 games, losing 2 to Victor and another one due to time. I think strategies are really important in mind games.
Yesterday after the tournament had ended, Eden and I went to Yishun Northpoint Long John Silvers to eat dinner before going back home. The result is that this coming Saturday we might have a mini competition at my house, or rather training session.
When I have reached home, I was so tired that I went to bed straightaway and slept all the way till now, the next morning.

>I'm going to start studying my words after all the impending ICAs.
>I managed to increase ratings, by 1 only. Haha is it going to take too long to up further?

KFC with Larry and Zamir!

School's today pretty shagged after a tiring day of doing Entrepreneurship ICA 1 Written Report the previous day.
At the very least, I am starting to like Entrepreneurship after today's tutorial.
During the 1 hour break today, Larry, Fusen, Zamir and I went to play pool at Grassroot Club before going for CMFI Lecture.
Thereafter, Larry, Zamir and I went to Bishan Junction 8 to eat KFC.
Subsequently all of them went back home and I went to meet Song Peng for Tekken 6.
Everything went well today fighting Song Peng and my Lars managed to get promoted to Mentor even though later I used it, King and Paul to farm my Yoshimitsu to Brawler rank.
Song Peng went back at 8plus while I stayed to wait for Syaq until 10pm and he did not come at all.
This will be the first and last time ever that I am going to farm my card. ZZZ...

Sis back from Nepal!

Today's such a long day outside to conclude my day.
First of all after school today, I had a slight Entrepreneurship project meeting before going off with Noble to Bishan Virtualand for some Tekken games.
After some meticulous thinking and mind games, my Lars is finally up to 4th dan even though it is at the expense of my Mokujin. I just want to go higher and higher up~ Noble's King is also up to 3rd dan after fighting with my Mokujin. Back at Yishun, I played with Lotion and won all 6 games. Now my Lars is ready for Mentor rank anytime soon.
Reaching home at around 8pm, I slept till 8.30pm before going out with my parents and brother to Changi Airport to fetch my sister who was back from Nepal for a leadership programme.
Before we waited for her at Terminal 1, we took the Sky train to Terminal 2 and ate our dinner at Fish & Co after I managed to convince them in doing so.
Thereafter, we walked around for a short while before my Father and I went to Starbucks and bought White Chocolate Mocha Frappucino and Caffe Latte Espresso to drink and wait for my sister to come out.
On the way back home, my Father stopped his car nearby at the roadside to let my sister go down to Macdonalds and buy some burgers back home to eat.

Scrabble Practice Session with Goutham, Eden and Kiat Peng!

Have you ever tried straining your brain to the limits? Have you ever tested how your mental strength is? How strong is your mental strength?
I think Scrabble and Tekken make me realise my mental strength to the limits. Yesterday night I was so tired after reaching home from a long night in Bugis Virtualand.
Today Goutham and Eden reached my house at approximately 2pm and we started our Scrabble Practice Session all the way till evening time around 7.30pm. Kiat Peng reached my house at around 4plus and it was raining heavily but we were playing in the comfort of my house.
I won a total of 4 games out of 5 and Goutham had the same number of wins as me too. I think I could have won all if I was not distracted watching tv shows that my parents were watching as well.
My parents bought chicken rice back for everyone to eat except Goutham who is the usual vegeterian and only eats at home.
After they were all gone by 8pm, I watched tv together with my mum and slept on the floor for around half an hour before going to bathe to make myself more energetic.

>Next week is Singapore Open Scrabble Championships. I'm going to try my best!

Opportunity by the doorway!

After the experiences of playing Tekken today at Bugis, I now totally believe that opportunity only comes by once and that's it if you have forsaken it. It is just like time and it will never coming swinging by your doorway again.
The previous time I allowed Song Peng to promote his Jack-6 to Brawler rank and now even if my Yoshimitsu can constantly win him or other Brawler ranks, I can never promote to Rogue or higher ranks due to the difference in rankings. Haiya...I think my sleeping habits affect my playing as well. I can hardly focus sometimes after winning a few times. Next Friday I will try sleeping earlier and see whether it is possible for any promotion chances.
Kiat Peng created a new Lars card after giving me his Lars card today. On Thursday, I told him that I wanted to play Lars and he gave me his.
Alan came with him as well but they left early at 9.15pm as promised by Kiat Peng to Alan before they came as Alan did not have much money to play after topping up $200 at Timezone for the Double Value offer.
At around 7plus, we went for dinner at Food Junction.
Consistency is an effort made as well. Jian Hua and Anthony tried ranking matches just now and they kept on fighting till one of them was promoted to Legend and in the end Anthony managed to win and promote to Legend after numerous tiring matches.
My Yoshimitsu has the potential to promote but I lack the right ranks to fight with. Higher and higher up please!
At 11.36pm, Boon Kai came to ask me to go as our last bus would be gone if we were too late. Surprisingly, the bus was already gone. I remember it used to be last bus at 12.15am. Next time I must be more aware as the train that I managed to get in to Jurong East was also the last train. Phew~

By the way, today Larry, Fusen, Zamir and I played pool at Grassroot during the 2 hours break. Larry and I bought Ramly burger and brought it to Auditing tutorial class to eat.

>Life has to get more interesting! I am going to grab any opportunity that comes by. The best is to create it:)

Shopping with Larry, Fusen, Gintat and Bryan at Vivo City!

Sleeping till your energy is recharged is probably the best thing that can ever happen in this world. In contrast, sleeping late because you still have energy is different because the feeling is also different when you wake up the next day.
I think I am too used to sleeping late so I don't feel like wasting time in sleeping whenever it comes to the right time of sleeping.
In any case, my energy was recharged when I woke up this morning after sleeping for around 10 hours.
I think I must finish tutorials whenever I can because I always seem to spend time on any other areas other than studying and doing tutorials.
After meeting Larry, Fusen and Bryan at Yio Chu Kang mrt station, we went to Vivo City to shop. Gintat came slightly later to meet us and we went to eat at Long John Silvers first.
After shopping, I went to Bishan Virtualand to meet Song Peng for some ranking matches. It was not good trying with my Paul and I was nearly demoted instead.
My Yoshimitsu and King fared pretty good but there was hardly any ranking chances because of my low ranks. :( Sometimes I just wish I can fully concentrate on just 1 thing alone. This is practically the thing I was missing out nowadays.
After all the fights till 8.45pm, we went back home to rest. Chiong again on Friday!

>I lack the chionging spirit in what I really want for myself. ZZZ!
>Sometimes I just think I am too shy. LOL.

Happy Birthday Grandma!/ Family Dinner at Turf City Ah Yat Seafood Restaurant

I am not time-conscious at all. That's for sure.
Today I woke up at 1.30pm after sleeping at only 3.30am in the early morning. Most of the times I just waste time not doing anything and using my computer for the whole day.
Thereafter, the whole family was watching 第一剧场 from Singtel Mio Tv System.
My sister left for Nepal early in the morning at around 5am to the airport fetched by my parents. I wanted to send her off too but they did not wake me up to do so.
By 4.55pm, everyone got ready and left for Turf City to meet up with the rest to celebrate my Grandma's birthday. Like the last time my youngest aunt treated us at the Ah Yat Seafood Restaurant, we chose our seafood alive and kicking before they were brought into the kitchen for slaughter and cooking.
Out of so many dishes eaten today, the fish was definitely the best. I had never have such nice fish before. Lol it was exaggerating but it really tasted that superb!
Later we sang birthday songs in Chinese and English to my Grandma and ate fresh durian cake bought by my aunt. It costed $60 for the whole of D24 Durian Cake. Splendid!
I bought a new leather card wallet to hold all my Tekken Cards and I had still a little more spaces to cover for a few new cards.
After the celebration at Turf City, we went to my Uncle's house at Woodlands for a little while as he wanted to pass us some fresh fishes that he had just caught today while fishing.
Coming to think of it, I had failed my quote to do a tutorial a day. I did not do it on Friday and Saturday! Alas!

>I have to develop more self-discipline!
>Happy 75th Birthday, Grandma!

Tekken Craze!

It seems like I have been missing out a lot on my blog nowadays. I hardly update any information on what I have been doing recently.
Tuesday's a day at Bugis as well together with Boon Kai, Syaq, Song Peng and Alan. I received an sms from Alan to go to Bugis and I smsed every single person as well to go. It turns out that Boon Kai was already at Bugis so I went there to meet him first. He was playing with one guy from (Disc) using Christie and my King got demoted to Master because he kept on losing haha.
I tried using Yoshimitsu and fight against Song Peng and I won his Jack 6, demoting him to Mentor and myself promoting to Master. Alan used my Paul and fought against him before this and promoted to Marauder rank. However, later after dinner, at around 9plus before going back home, I fought lots of ranking matches with Song Peng and Boon Kai using my Devil Jin and got demoted to 3rd dan.

Pool's fun in Grassroot after the morning lectures in school.
Today's an early dismissal from school and thus I was early on my way to Bugis. Surprisingly, I saw a few of Dreamboat's cards and saw his Lee which was Conqueror rank as well. I tried fighting his Lee using my own Lee and Devil Jin against his Jin but it looked like it was not really fruitful.
Skills nowadays are a optimal level and I can't really lose too much fighting against some people in Bugis.
Syaq came over to join Boon Kai and I. Initially he was winning and leading ahead with lots of wins but it seemed that he played too much and his Yoshimitsu got demoted instead.
Later I tried all characters against Boon Kai but only my Yoshimitsu could win fruitfully against his Yoshimitsu and Law. My Paul had a ranking match with (+Loss) Dragunov guy and he got demotion risk although I did not feel like demoting him.
Syaq and I bought a Double Cheese burger and ate it before going back home by mrt train.
Reaching Yishun, we went to Macdonalds again and shared a set meal and chatted before we went back home to rest after a tiring Tekken Craze.

>The quote is "Think big, Plan Big, Do IT BIG!"
I am just going to do whatever that I feel like doing nowadays.

Post Noble's birthday celebration!/ The 3 Musketeers

Yesterday my secondary school clique and I had celebrations for Noble's birthday.
Happy Hari Raya Haji to all! Thanks to this public holiday, everybody gets a day off to stay at home or go out if you choose to.
The first thing I woke up to do was to accompany my father to buy lunch back for my siblings.
Later at around 1.15pm, I left house to meet Noble and Bob for lunch to celebrate Noble's birthday. As Noble and Leonard both had sore throat, they could not eat any fried food and thus we settled our meals in the food court.
Bob's Chocolate Lava cake was delicious. I think we should try business ideas on this kind of cakes/ pastries. It is a feasible method.
After lunch, we called Leonard to join us before we went to Bugis Shaw theatre for movie. The 3 Musketeers was a nice and humorous movie to watch.
Thereafter, we went to AMK for dinner at the food court because we were thinking of playing LAN or Pool preferably.
It ended up we played L4D all the way till around 10 plus before going back home to rest and prepare for the next day.
Tutorials are still not yet done! 1st week of school is still like a holiday for me. I need some time management.

>Happy Birthday Noble bro!

Dim Sum at Turf City!/ Adrenaline Rush!

How long has it been since I last reaped the benefits of sleeping early?
Actually I don't really intend to sleep early the previous day but I was so tired that I fell asleep on the bed while lying down.
Waking up at 10.30am, I prepared myself as my youngest aunt told us that she would be coming to fetch us at 11am to go to Turf City's Ah Yat Seafood Restaurant for Dim Sum.
Although it wasn't buffet, we ordered what we wanted to eat till our heart's content. We ate and chat all the way till 2.30pm before leaving to go to Jurong Point for window-shopping.
Ern Ern and Amanda was fetched back home in Jurong West whereas my aunt, brother and I walked to Jurong Point to "jalan".
As usual, I always like the feeling of going out with my family members. After walking for a while, we settled down at Long John Silvers for some drinks and I drank my favourite drink, Ice Milo.
At around 4.43pm, I realised I was rather late in meeting Syaq and Boon Kai at Bugis so I took the Green Line all the way to Bugis.
Today's a rather interesting day at Bugis as a Malaysian Tekken player came today initially with the intention to challenge Dreamboat but he wasn't around. Seeing his Legend rank Bryan and fighting his Fujin rank Steve was even more interesting. I nearly won because the distance to "bang" him just wasn't enough. LOL.
Syaq and Song Peng left early. Boon Kai and I went for dinner at Food Junction as usual before returning back to Virtualand.
I had 2 promotion chances with my Paul today but I didn't manage to grab it. I think my Paul is on the verge of improving or changing to another era as the number of practices increase.
Later Boon Kai fought Michael's (+Loss) Furholden and got promoted to Warrior even though he felt bad demoting him to Marauder.

>Adrenaline rush on the way home!
>Gonna sleep early whenever I can nowadays. =D

Year 3 Semester 2 Week 1 over!/ Tekken at Serangoon Nexxx

Year 3 Semester 2 Week 1 is over! Time passes so fast that I think I am still caught up in my IPP life.
There's only 2 lectures today. After printing some tutorial stuffs at the photocopy shop, Larry, Fusen, me and the rest had lunch at Koufu before Larry and I went to Serangoon Nexxx.
I bought a keychain today that was actually an Artic gun and I think it's magnificent. Games today at Serangoon Nexxx were awesome too together with Transformers and the Korean guy although I think they still win more compared to me.
We played till 7pm before leaving back to Yishun. Back to Yishun, Kiat Peng and I met my disciple at Northpoint Timezone and I tried ranking matches with him but it ended up that he only had demotion chance in the end. I let win in the end and I used the credit for Roger Junior but the controls are really too sucky.
Wei Cong and Raven came as well but as I was pretty tired with all the games at Serangoon Nexxx, Kiat Peng and I went back home respectively.
This semester is going to pass as quickly as well, as can be predicted.

>Tomorrow's Dim Sum with my aunt, brother and cousin! Followed by Tekken with Boon Kai, Syaq and Song Peng at Bugis! Chiong!
>This semester is the last semester of this Poly life so it is better to make it a fruitful one.

Syaq, Alan, Kiat Peng and Song Peng to Serangoon Nexx!

Tekken's highlights today!
Initially I was thinking of whether to join the Singapore Open Scrabble Tournament 2011 1 month from now because tomorrow was the last day for registration and Goutham wanted to send me to the Thomson Community Club near Marymount Mrt station. Thereafter they would go for their Pokemon tournament somewhere else. Thanks Goutham for the effort=D
Subsequently, I went over to meet Song Peng at Serangoon Nexxx. Surprisingly, the Tekken standard there was quite good . Today's the first time facing off against (+Force) people and their skills are really good. It's like the same as us.
It's not so bad fighting against (+Force)Transformers and (+Force) Miguel and Kazuya. Their standards were kind of overwhelming when I first played against them. My Paul cannot seem to win no matter what. When my Yoshi came out, I can fight on an evenly rate as them.
Later Alan came shortly after I went to fetch Kiat Peng at Serangoon Mrt station. Syaq came at 6plus and we all fought among ourselves until all the (+Force) people came back.
Kiat Peng, Song Peng and I went to Texas Chicken for our dinner before we left to go back to the Virtualand to see the red ranks battle.
Too bad there is no fluctuation in the red ranks and Syaq and I continued to stay back to fight while Alan and Kiat Peng went back home.
In the end, it became our Yoshimitsu that shone and it is like we left with honour back to Yishun. Haha (+Force)Transformers told us to join his group but too bad Syaq and I had already thought of as a clan for Yoshimitsu and only Yoshimitsu can join the group. Hehe.
At the mrt station, Syaq treated me to a packet of Soya drink as we took bus 851 back to Home Sweet Home.
Now my main character is back to Yoshimitsu again. My heart never fail to fluctuate all the time. This time round, after so many ordeals and happenings, I am never leaving Yoshimitsu again. XD
It's funny how Syaq told me on the bus that I am his 2nd girlfriend. LOL! I always tell my colleagues they are my boyfriends too. LOL.

>Tomorrow's school reopen! Wow!

Chiong Bugis!

The whole day today was spent on Tekken 6 at Bugis Virtualand.
I arranged to meet Boon Kai at Northpoint Timezone first before we took bus 851 to Bugis. Beforehand, I accompanied him to go eat at the food court since he had not taken his lunch yet and I had mine at home since my parents had already "da bao" for me.
On the way inside the bus to Bugis, it rained heavily halfway but it stopped when we were about to alight from the bus. I kind of like the feeling of chatting with friends inside a bus on the journey to somewhere else while raining heavily. The feeling of comfort is excellent!
I missed my 2 promotion chances for my Yoshimitsu today while fighting Song Peng and another guy that spammed grabs all the time. The problem with me is I always don't focus on 1 thing to make it better first before jumping to another character. I like to use different characters and play randomly.
After eating our dinner at the Food Junction, we went back to Virtualand to continue with our games. Alan and Song Peng had already left since 1 has work tomorrow and the other always does so in a fixed timing. Boon Kai's Julia is up to Berserker rank already and I just passed him my Law card to play since I want to fully focus on my other characters to make them stronger.
Alas the sudden winning in ranking matches for my Yoshimitsu at Bugis against Boon Kai's Law boosted my confidence suddenly and I felt as if Sunday is my lucky day.
Back at home, currently, I won all my games in ISC. Too bad I am not chionging Tekken on Sunday. Sad...

>Less than 24 hours to school reopen! I'm gonna enjoy my last day of holiday=D

JDCR to Bugis Virtualand in Singapore!

2 more days to last semester for Poly Life in NYP!
Time is passing so quickly and in around half a year or slightly more, I have to report for NS. What vocation I will be in depends on my medical checkup on 2 Dec.
Today marks the end of attachment after so long and I will really miss the working environment and the great colleagues there!
Thereafter, I went to Bugis to catch JDCR, a Korean Tekken God from Korea in action. It is just simply amazing how he can manage to win everyone in Bugis just by simply using random characters. I guess this is the difference in standards of Singapore Tekken players and Korean Tekken players.
Even though it is amazing, I choose not to spend the $10 to play with him as I think it is pretty much a waste of money.
I just played randomly using all my characters today. I think I should really concentrate on 1 character instead of fighting with all my characters. This is called "Focus" and "Concentration" which I really cannot manage to do until now.
Tomorrow I am going with Boon Kai and maybe Alan and Kiat Peng to catch the Tekken God in action. These 2 weekends holidays must be expended to the maximum capacity~

>Life's simply amazing=D

Bob, Leo and me at Noble's house!

Today's Sunday already and tomorrow is Monday. Time flies like nobody's business. This coming week is the last to go. All the best to everybody!
Initially, Leonard, Qi Yuan, Noble and I were meeting at Noble's house at 1pm but it got changed to 2pm. I went back to sleep and woke up when Noble called me. So I just headed to his house and called him when I was about to reach the gate.
Qi Yuan's Sphagetti and Salmon fish were quite tasty. This kind of gathering was superb but too bad the time was a little too short. Noble had to pass something to Jun Ting whereas Leonard had to attend his church. The next time we meet will be movie and perhaps pool as well. I haven't touched pool for years to come.
Thereafter, I was meeting Alan and Kiat Peng at Northpoint Timezone and we played all the way till the Timezone was going to close before we went home respectively. Dinner at KFC was superb together with Alan, Kiat Peng and Joyce as well.
I really think that skills are the best to rely on. Today's fight using Roger Junior was best proof. Roger Junior promoted all the way from 1st dan to 4th dan within one day. I got my free $50 credits today after Kiat Peng topped up his $5 credits into my card. I let him splurge using the $50 credits by playing with me and training his Mokujin as well.
All right, life's going to be interesting this coming week. Friday will be the best at Bugis night with the Korean Tekken God coming to Singapore to play. Hehe I will definitely be there to watch=D

>I'm tired but satisfied.

Double "Double" Top up in Timezone and Virtualand!

Alas, I just realised it had been decades ever since I have last updated my blog. Nowadays there are always problems with the MySpace Playlist and they have been so troublesome that I cannot even upload new Kpop songs onto my Playlist for my blog. Grrr!!
This Friday must have been the craziest ever. Initially, I was only going to Bugis to accompany Boon Kai as he was transferring bus to Yishun after attachment at work. The news that I heard from him was change of plans as there are double values at Virtualand and there are $30 for free $30. Why not? It is so worthed it when 1 game is already 50 cents and the double only makes one Tekken game 25 cents. Omg it is so cheap:)
Before Boon Kai, Song Peng and I left to take bus 851 back to Yishun, Boon Kai helped me to "UP" rank for my King to 4th dan by fighting 1 of [+Force] Roger Junior and another guy that used Mishima Family and was quite good. I was so surprised when I saw him using King. It is completely different from mine. He really spends time in learning King well and all the combos were wow~ I guess it makes a difference whether you put effort in studying or practising a particular skill until you become good in it. The effort makes a difference.
Thereafter, we took bus 851 back to Yishun and I went to withdraw money before Boon Kai and I went to eat at the food court while waiting for Alan to come over and join us. Later he paid us back the money that we topped up for him in Virtualand.
We topped up double and when I checked my credits, I have only left with $2 more to get free $50 credit. If only the joystick for the Tekken 6 machine can be much better, then everything will seem to be so perfect.
When the Timezone switches off the swiper at 9.30pm and we all left at 10pm, Boon Kai, Wei Cong, Raven and I went to coffee shop 925 to chit chat and eat as well.

Today's much better as I set out at nearing 3pm to Northpoint Timezone first and play with Masterpig while waiting for Alan before we set out to go to Jurong Point to play ranking matches.
King has 3 promotions today. I used it against Alan's Steve and Lee and managed to promote twice from 4th dan to Master. Later Boon Kai used it against me and promoted to Rogue rank. My Law got demoted to 4th dan and Alan's Leo got promoted to Rogue rank.
Haha sometimes being the spectator is not so bad. I watched as Boon Kai played ranking matches with Alan and managed to promote his Julia all the way from Master to Brawler rank. Alan's Steve and Lee got demoted to 4th dan.
This is the difference between skills level. I have to try my best to promote my King further and improve my skills in playing. It is better to focus on one first and master it so that I can rely on it if any other characters cannot win.

>Tekken has to be the best fighting game ever in history!

~Stay Home Day~

Today's officially a stay home day for me. I just don't feel like going anywhere and not feeling like doing anything else except staying at home.
In the morning, my parents woke me up at 11pm to go for a haircut in Sembawang by Xiu Hua Auntie. Now my hair is short, neat and tidy. After a bath, it just makes the feeling even more energizing! Shiok~
Subsequently, after the haircut for my Father and I and a hair wash for my Mother, we went to Chong Pang to buy Nasi Lemak for lunch before going back home.
Reaching home, I washed some of the traditional Chinese Ghost stories before I used my lappy.
Kara had their STEP Goodbye Stage today. It ended so quickly just like it came back then. I love Kara!
Too bad I am unable to tag the video of the STEP Goodbye Stage because it is not uploaded on Youtube yet.
In any case, yesterday was initally a gathering for my Secondary School brothers and I but in the end, only Noble could come. Nevertheless, Noble and I had fun playing Tekken 6 at Bishan Virtualand. I finally bought my cloak for King! Now I am just going to concentrate on my King since I have decided on him as my main character.
We went home at 11.20pm which was like nearly the last train to catch already. Next Friday night is Bugis night! I want to start training my King!
Time just passes so quickly. In moments to come, all of the guys will be taking National Service. My Medical Checkup is on 2th December. I want to chiong my fitness before NS comes. Just like what Syak has said, it is just a choice to make. Either you suffer first and enjoy later, or you enjoy now and suffer later. Sooner or later we will get used to it! Now it is time to chiong everything like nobody's business!

>Bring it on!

Pepper Lunch with Mum and Dad at IMM!

Today I forsake my outings with my Tekken mates and Secondary school buddies just to accompany my family members to go out. The result was definitely worthed it.
We set out at 2.30pm and reached there approximately in slightly less than half an hour. By the time we parked our car, it was 3.03pm.
We didn't have our lunch at home and so we walked around in search of new places to eat. This search ended pretty quickly when I saw Pepper Lunch and told my parents that this is pretty good and they should try it.
Surprisingly, my mum agreed to it quite quickly without suggesting the food court. Pepper lunch was pretty enjoyable, with all the ambience, excellent food and enjoyable moment with family members. After today, I think I will consider twice before going out with my friends on Sundays since Sunday is mostly family time and spending it with our family members are definitely the best and needless to say.
Lunch later, we went around shopping and spent our time mostly inside a furniture shop selling sofas and Master Beds.
We took a pretty long time choosing mainly because of a lot of considerations. We have to think of the suitable sizes that fit our living room, whether to make adjustments to the furnitures, thinking of which furniture will suit our living room better in accordance to colours and sizes.
As Pepper Lunch was pretty heavy, my parents and I did not take our dinner as we were still adequately full and we settled for some Takoyaki and curry puffs from Old Chang Kee.
Later we went to the $2 Japanese shop and bought some necessities home. By the time we left, it was already 8plus and it had been 5 hours since we entered into the IMM building.
Reaching home, it was pretty tiring for me after bathing and doing all the necessary things. Time's passing pretty fast and just after a few games of Scrabbles on ISC using my own WordList, it is already 12am now and perhaps time for bed already.
Tomorrow I am meeting Syaq and Song Peng at Bishan Virtualand after work. Time to chiong once and for all and get my Marauder rank!

>Life's pretty awesome!~

Alan and I to Jurong Point!

I think I am very enthusiastic about Tekken 6. LOL.
Yesterday after work, I arranged to meet Boon Kai at Bugis Virtualand to play Tekken 6. Playing at Bugis is really fun and your skills can really improve a lot. Subsequently, I went home at around 9.20pm to catch the channel U show at 10pm.
Today's even more tiring after a long day outside Tekkening all the time.
First up, I went to meet Alan at Causeway Point as he wanted to see who is playing the Streetfighter there. I tried playing ranking matches with Alan and demoted his Baek to Brawler but my Paul does not have any promotion chance. Is promotion chance just so difficult? In addition, it also sucks to lose to the same person many times over and over again. (Sensei)
At approximately 5pm, before Alan and I went over to Jurong Point, Alan went to Mos Burger to get his $10 back from his friend and it ended up that there was an argument somehow. Money is just always so sensitive an issue to anyone else.
I did not win so much at Jurong Point. As a matter of fact, my King and Law got demoted there . Haiya I think this must have something to do with the timing I sleep the previous day. I think I was tired out playing at Causeway Point as well.
In any case, I have decided my main character, and there will be no more discrepancy or thinking. I will just fully concentrate on my main character and train well.
During dinner time, Alan and I went to eat the roasted duck rice and wanton mee at one of the stalls. I think we were so hungry that we finished the food pretty quickly and the chilli made us perspire like we are running 2.4km run. LOL.
Thereafter at around 8.45pm, we went back to continue playing until approximately 10.30pm before we left.
Now I will focus more on blocking and maximising my combo damages.
All right, tomorrow Sunday will be a rest day for me at home! No tekken! I am meeting Syaq on Monday after work to play Tekken 6 at Bishan Virtualand:)

>Tired!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bishan Heights RC Mini 2011

Today's whole morning and afternoon were spent on the Bishan Heights RC Mini 2011.
Morning was great and I managed to win 3 games out of 4 games, all against very strong opponents. I think the reason why I lost all remaining 5 games in the afternoon after lunch was due to sleeping late. Other than 2 stupid mistakes that costed me the 2 games, I think lack of sleep resulted in a lack of energy in focus or concentration. No doubt I will lose so badly. There is no one to blame except myself.
After the competition ended at approximately 6.10pm, I waited for Goutham who took an interview for Paul Richards for his school project before we left for Bishan Mrt Station together.
Later I went to the Virtualand at Junction 8 to find Syaq since we had already arranged to meet there. Today's not so bad even though I spent a lot of money on playing. My Paul is now on Brawler rank. One more to go to become more prestigious.
We tried a lot of games using my Law which is Master Rank but Syaq's Yoshimitsu still remained unpromoted. Haiya.. I think we will have to try the next time we are at Bishan or some other places like Jurong Point.
Tekken is just starting to get more and more interesting with the ranks going up subsequently.

>Next Saturday is definitely playing at Jurong Point. I will find a chance to go to Bugis to play again. Syaq and I have agreed to meet some time at Causeway Point so that we can play against the nameless people.

To Jurong Point with Alan! (Tekken 6)

I think for every Saturday now, Alan and I will meet at Yishun to go to Jurong Point to play Tekken 6. The ambience at Jurong Point is not bad. At least at Alan and I or even Song Peng as well can play ranking matches all the time. Except Jin Jialat, I think all the rest of the people at Jurong Point are beatable. Omg, I sound so arrogant.
Perhaps it is like what Alan has said inside the train today. He said that I feel like promoting my cards to high ranks because I have the thinking that I have improved and have the skills to beat anyone who comes in my way. I think it is true in some sense since I have been playing at Bugis all this while and my skills have really improved for Paul, Law, Yoshimitsu and King.
Alan and I reached Jurong Point Virtualand at around 3.15pm. We saw Song Peng who was always reaching earlier than us and playing with some unknown strangers.
As Song Peng was playing with someone else, Alan and I started playing Paul mirror matches. I won him 3 games before he went to play ranking matches with Song Peng. He used Steve and demoted Song Peng's Jack 6 to 4th dan. Later Alan put in his Leo card and managed to promote from Mentor to Master.
Later I played with Song Peng and tried to promote my Yoshimitsu but I didn't manage to do so. In the end I tried using Law and promote to Mentor rank and demote his Jack 6 to 3rd dan.
I tried using King but got demoted to 2nd dan instead. Later I changed to using Lee and he managed to defeat my Lee and promote back to 4th dan.
I tried using Law again and got promoted to Master rank. Later my King has 4 wins against Alan's 3rd dan Lee and I fought with Song Peng's Jack 6 to get promoted back to 3rd dan. So overall, I have 2 promotions today.
Song Peng left at 7pm and Alan and I went to eat at 8plus. We went to Fairprice to buy OK Tea first since Alan heard from the worker when he bought some food to eat from a particular stall.
Later we went to the food stalls located right outside Jurong Point. I bought carrot cake for $3.50 and Alan bought Nasi Lemak for $2.20 since we figured out that we will be quite full from drinking the Milk Tea.
Haha Alan changed seats while eating just so that he can glance at a pretty girl that is a waitress at the bar right beside us. LOL we never go and ask her for her age and number but I believe we will still see her again next Saturday when we go Jurong Point again. I think her age is between 23-25 although Alan said she should be 26-28 years old. Haha let's see who is correct next week.
On the Boon Lay mrt station, Alan and I saw a bickering couple and he shared with me his experiences on the mrt when we were on the way home. Haha such outings are fun especially we can maximise playing Tekken 6 to the max and chatting and eating as well:)
Tomorrow is the Bishan Heights RC Mini. I hope I can win some prize money tomorrow so that I can have more money to spend:) I am meeting Syaq at Bishan Virtualand for Tekken 6 as well. This is really maximising what I can do for Tekken 6. I hope I can maximise everything to the fullest.

>Alan is right. Tekken 6 is part of our life for now, and I am enjoying it to the max.
>Let's maximise Studies, Scrabble and Tekken 6 for now:D

Went to watch F1 at City Hall/ Marina Bay area with Goutham!

Today is unexpectedly a tiring day for me. I think I have reached my tethering ends already. When this day comes, I will always be so tired that I can hardly focus on anything except sleeping.
I came out earlier today and went to Bugis Virtualand for Tekken 6. My Yoshimitsu got demoted back to 4th dan, but I realised my improvement after playing with Edric (+Loss)Imperfection. I realised my 3 strongest characters, namely Yoshimitsu, Law and Paul.
Leaving at almost 5pm, I went to City Hall to meet Goutham who was waiting for me to go and see the F1 race together. The ticket that we have bought today was Zone 4 Walkabout tickets which meant that there are certain zones that we cannot go and we don't have seats to sit on during the race observation. We will have to stand all the way.
Reaching there, we went to the nearby stalls and I ate Nasi Lemak for $6 while Goutham accompanied me. The food and drinks inside were pretty expensive and this Nasi Lemak was already the cheapest.
Thereafter, we went to see the real race starting at 6.15pm. Actually today's race and Saturday's race were practice races and only the race on Sunday is the real one.
Goutham and I took so long to walk around in search for nice spots to watch the F1s and sit down as well. After quite some time, we found the stall that sold Ponchos and Earplugs for $2. There is definitely the need to buy Earplugs as the sound produced from the F1's engines were incredibly loud and the sound can be described as somewhat like the combination of the sound of the bee and thunder.
The nicest spot we have found was right outside the Esplanade and we could even sit down and enjoy the views of the F1 cars coming in at top speed. Splendid!
At 8.30pm, when the qualifiers race was over, we went to Macdonalds as Goutham needed to eat something and I drank plain water from cups gotten from Macdonalds. LOL.
Later we went back to watch the practice race from 9.30pm to 11pm but we left at 10pm as we found that watching the race was mundane and repititive. Besides we do not support any specific team or racer so there is no urge to continue watching.
I managed to reach home at approximately 10.30pm. After clearing all my things, now is finally the time to sleep! Tomorrow chiong Tekken 6 at Jurong Point with Alan!

>The picture above shows the F1 Walkabout Ticket. It costs only $38 for Friday but it was easily more than $100 on Saturday and Sunday! Wow!

Meet up with Zamir and Zhi Long bros at Bishan Junction 8!

I guess I can never be one to sleep early and tahan the next night sleeping so late.
Previous night, due to tidying up my table, I slept at nearing 3pm after doing all my important stuffs.
Today after work, I took the North East Line to Dhoby Gaut before going all the way to Bishan. This morning, there was a technical fault with the trains at Circle Line resulting in Circle line being closed down for operations for more than 4 hours. Surprisingly I realised travelling to Dhoby Gaut is much faster than I have ever expected so I am going to change line from now onwards.
Reaching Junction 8 at nearing 7pm, I met Zamir who was already there and went up to Virtualand to play for a while before Zhi Long came over to find us from Toa Payoh as he went back to take money.
Subsequently, we went to settle for dinner at KFC and then went to find Gong Cha which is just directly above us but we were unaware of it. Now that we know it, next time will be more convenient.
Later we went up to Virtualand again and I used my Law card to farm my Yoshimitsu rank to Mentor. I also realised how shagged 1 person can be when he sleeps late. I am not going to sleep late ever again if there is nothing necessary to do!
By the time we left Virtualand it was already 10.15pm so all of us just headed home to prepare to rest for tomorrow.
Tomorrow will be a brand new day!

>Happy Birthday Andy bro! Please contact me as soon as you can. I want to know your progress now, whether you are feeling okay. All the best!

Cleaned my entire desk!

Today's entire night time was used to clean my entire desk and I did not even have any time to do any other thing.
The process was extremely tiring but definitely extremely worthed it. I started tidying up at 8.50pm and only managed to finish at 11.10pm. I realised that it has been so long ever since I have last cleaned my table like this. The dust was as thick as almost a "book" thickness.
I also bought a new file stacker so that I can have more space in my cabinet and maximise my space on the table as well.
Now the time is already 1.51am and I am dead tired. Off to bed!

To Junction 8 with Noble for lunch and Tekken 6!

Weekend always goes as fast as they can come. In a blink of an eye, it is Monday again.
These few days I am really on a Tekken splurge.
I only slept at 8am today and so I woke up at 2plus when Noble called me and I bathed and went out to meet him for lunch at Bishan Junction 8.
When we reached Bishan, we had lunch first at KFC as we have said so earlier and went up to Virtualand for Tekken 6. There is really nobody at Bishan to play with to promote my ranks. Today I managed to promote my Law back to 4th dan after demoting Noble's King to 2nd dan and during some of the processes I even let him use my King.
We played all our characters all the way till 6.50pm before leaving to home.

>Time is always not enough!

Tekken Splash!

Friday and Saturday were really crazy days.
On Friday, after work, Alan, Boon Kai, Kiat Peng, Song Peng and I arranged to meet at Bugis to play Tekken 6. I didn't eat dinner at all but just played the entire day at the Virtualand. Mostly I depended on Milk Tea to quench my thirst. I think my skills are improving but I don't know whether I should continue using cards to play for every single game. Is it a good thing or a bad thing?
Today all my parents and my grandparents went in to Malaysia so there're only left with my Brother, me and my sister at home. Waking up at 10plus, I used my computer until 12plus before leaving to meet Alan for lunch and then going to Jurong Point Virtualand for Tekken session.
Initially, we were meeting at 11am but the timing was constantly changing and the weather was rainy and unforeseeable so there were a lot of delays. Song Peng was already waiting for us at Jurong Point Virtualand. I did not manage to get all my cards promoted today, especially my Yoshimitsu. Yoshimitsu had 2 times promotion but I kept on losing it at the crucial moment.
My Hwoarang card was promoted to Mentor but in the end, as a result of using my Paul and playing against Alan, my Paul got promoted to Master and Hwoarang got demoted back to 4th dan. Before that my Law got demoted to 3rd dan by Alan. Lee also had demotion chance but I did not want to demote my card so I just let the promotion chance be saved.
The only bad thing about using cards all the times is that I tend to lose out during ranking matches as my cards already had a lot of losses beforehand and demotion risks are precedented.
At 8plus, Alan and I went for dinner at Benten cafe and of course the set meal that we ordered was good and expensive as well.
After that we went back for a few more games before going back home.
Next weekends will be busy! I will be going Jurong Point again with Alan on Saturday and going for Bishan Heights Mini RC for Scrabble Competition on Sunday.

>Can I get to the rank that I want?

Grandeur 8 Scrabble Competition 2011

Look at all the 10 pictures of different Scrabble boards for the 10 games played at Grandeur 8 today. The different boards were simply magnificent. I prefer black boards and colourful tiles, just like the 5th game.
1st Game: No bingo missed.
2nd Game: Cooper- means to make barrels. No bingo missed.
3rd Game: Tift- means to lunch. No bingo missed.
4th Game: Another annagram for Hankerer- Harkener. Harkener- means one that listens. Hankerer means one who hankers (to long for). No bingo missed.
5th Game: Missed Grilses- means a young salmon.
6th Game: No bingo missed.
7th Game: Missed Booners- means a young working class person from Canberra. Missed Borneol- means alcohol used in perfumes. Missed Parvise- means an enclosed area in front of a church , also Parvis. Missed Paviser- a soldier carrying a Pavis.
8th Game: Missed Coition- meaning sexual intercourse (WOW). Missed Tawnily- in a tawny manner. Missed Flutina- means a type of accordion. Missed Nuptial- means a wedding. Missed Quintal- means one hundred kilograms. Missed Unvital- means not vital.
9th Game: Missed Coterie- an exclusive circle.
10th Game: Missed Resolute- means one who is resolute is characterized by firmness or determination [Resoluter, Resolutest].  More importantly, the annagrams for A,E,E,I,L,N,R,T are only ELATERIN, ENTAILER and TREENAIL.

Now I really have the feeling of improving my Scrabble skills further. Let's aim for the best in the shortest years' time as possible.
After the competition, Goutham and I went to swim in the swimming pool inside Grandeur 8 and the temperature of the water was just freaking cold! Haha we swam all the way till 8pm before bathing and leaving and it was really super fun!
Thereafter when we reached Yishun, initially I wanted to eat Macdonalds with Goutham but he last minute did not wanted to eat so I just bought Long John Silvers back home to eat.
Hopefully I can join some overseas tourneys to improve myself/ get more exposure or if luckily, wins more prizes.

>Next target is the Singapore Open Scrabble Championship.

Impending Grandeur 8!

I felt like decades ever since I last updated my blog.
Last Friday and this Friday were the best since Boon Kai, Kiat Peng, Alan and I could all meet at Bugis in the evening for Tekken session.
Yesterday I did not "chiong" as much compared to when fighting against Eevil since I think that I rather play a few good games properly rather than playing a lot and losing hastily. The first game was simply awesome winning Anthony's Law using my Yoshimitsu.
A while later at around 7plus, Boon Kai, Kiat Peng, Alan, Kelvin and I went upstairs to the Food Junction for dinner and later returned to Virtualand for more games.
I realised I was already tired when I returned after dinner. I guess people are like that. They get tired after filling up their stomaches/ getting full.
In any case, my Paul has gotten 5000*20= 100000G and Lucky Roulette during the Roulette spin. This is the rarest situation ever gotten from Roulette spinning. I do hope that my Roulette will last forever. :)
Later at around 11.40pm, all of us went home by the last train to Joo Koon and last train to Jurong East. I think this day was really one of the luckiest day for us.
Today a Tekken 6 PS3 Competition was held at the Expo for Tekken players. Unfortunately I cannot even afford the $10 entry fee. (+LOSS)Perfection told me to join but sadly I cannot. The place is also too far away.
I can see my improvement in Tekken 6 after attending the Bugis Virtualand Tekken area. Hehe. It is always the best to train with people stronger than you to make further improvements.

Today officially I have finished all Masked Rider Kabuto's episodes, special episodes and movies. Should I ask my brother for more Kamen Rider's shows? They are simply fantastic.
In the evening at around 5.30pm, my Aunt called me out for dinner together at Ah Mei's Cafe right beside KFC in Northpoint. We had a long chat until 7.30pm before she went back home to Sembawang. All the casual talk has made me serious and thoughtful about my future education and career path.
Tomorrow is Grandeur 8 Scrabble Competition held at the Condo right beside Nanyang Polytechnic. I hope I can do better this time round.
I feel like buying the above drama show to watch although it is broadcasted on the Television Channel U now.

Loving Tekken 6 at Bugis!

Yesterday marks the end of 2nd week. Every friday, I will definitely go to Bugis Virtualand for Tekken session.
Yesterday I met Song Peng there and I bought his Law card for $5. I realised I am good at playing Law for a character. It will definitely be one of my main character other than Yoshimitsu, Paul, King and Lee. So in total I will have 5 characters for concentration now, not counting in Roger Junior, Hwoarang and Devil Jin just yet.
At around 7plus we went to eat at the Food Junction before returning for more games. It is certainly interesting seeing Fantasy fight against Jian Hua even though the winner was already somewhat predictable.
Alan, Kiat Peng and I also tried playing ranking matches against one another while Boon Kai just played at the other side by himself.
If only the time for Friday night is Infinite! <3ing it! :D
Tomorrow the whole family is going to my Grandmother's house at Sembawang for dinner. Let's hope for more crabs and more movies! Wow!

Dinner at Er Shu House

Today's a public holiday so all of us get to rest at home.
Yesterday I was so tired that I fell asleep on the bed all the way until morning. Surprisingly I managed to sleep for more than 7 hours when I thought I will not exceed anymore.
For dinner today, Er Shu saw some Sri Lanka crabs and bought them back while bringing Ern Ern Darius to his friend's party. The crabs were so big like the previously ones brought back from my Father when my parents went to attend a wedding dinner in a hotel.
After dinner, we were actually going to watch some action-packed show but in the end, we ended up watching a show about a Easter Bunny and a man who left the house because of some family issues and about their dads. This movie will be broadcasted very soon.
Before this, Xiao Shu and I went to Sun Plaza Starfactory and I played 4 games of Tekken 6 there. I realised that I can actually do so many stunts with all my characters. After the fight at Causeway point, I think I should focus on 1 character and train it to be the best and fight any other characters.Yoshimitsu here I come!
Holidays always end so quickly and there is really hardly time to enjoy. In a few minutes time, I have to go to bed already.

Is today Sunday? Wow time waits for no man. The Value of Time- To Realize the Value of One Day, Ask a Daily Wage Labourer Who has Ten Kids to feed.
Why does human always have to wait till he has lost everything before they know how to cherish them? For me I think the main factor is Time. I will not waste any more time anymore in the future, unless I think it is worthed my time to do so.
Today I woke up at 1plus. I think after waking up so early every single day, I can no longer sleep longer than 8 hours anymore.
Thereafter, I had my lunch and watched IRIS while waiting for Goutham to come for some practice games On-The-Board. We managed to play 3 games as shown on the top.
I managed to finish watching IRIS and we went for badminton after the 3 games of practice at the usual court near Anirban's house.
Later we all went at 7plus respectively. Goutham went home. Anirban went to watch movie at GV and I went to buy a file at Popular.
Weekends are so important now that I must grab full use of the chance whenever it came to weekends and fully enjoy myself.

>I think my Scrabble skills are improving! Practice makes perfect! Studying makes it better!

Weekend Updates (Week 1 Saturday)

For 10 weeks starting from this week onwards, I will only be updating my blog only on the weekends.
From just this week 1 alone, I have been visiting Bugis for 4 times already, particularly on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
Yesterday night, friday night is always the bustling night for Tekken 6 at Bugis. You will see all kinds of ranks there and the skills levels played there. I just witnessed the promotion of Sage rank to Legend yesterday. The fight was simply engulfing my heart. It was such a close shave for Jian Hua to pip that Chirstie Monteiro with his Lars Alexanderson. Hehe.
Later at around 9plus, Syaq came over to join me and then I started to play more actively since I was waiting for him to come and play Yoshimitsu together.
At 10.30pm, Boon Kai came over to look for us and I did not pick up his calls since I was playing all along and Syaq went back at 11pm since he had a movie to catch with his Father at 11.40pm. Later I went back home by taking bus 851 after walking with Boon Kai to the usual bus stop.
After reaching home, I rewinded the tape after bathing to watch the E.U, a Hong Kong police drama third series show which I have watched the first 2 series but not this one yet.

Today is my Great-Grandmother's death anniversary and all my relatives and family members came to my house for lunch together. Now my house is quite quiet and only my sister and I are at home. The rest have left for home respectively and now is the time to relax for a while:)

2nd Day of OTB Scrabble Practice with Goutham~!

Time always passes so quickly that we really hardly have any time to do anything we will have really wanted to do.
For these few days of holidays, other than playing Tekken 6 at Bugis with Boon Kai and Noble, I have been watching this show, The Rippling Blossom - 魚躍在花見, as recommended by Andy. It is a must watch!
The previous night I was slept so late at 5plus watching this show. Today I woke up at 12plus and I had to go and buy more clothings. Typically today I was out the whole day starting from when I was awake all the way till 4plus. I reached home at exactly 4.15pm.
Subsequently, Goutham came for some On-The-Board Scrabble games and we only manged to secure 4 as shown above before he went back home.
After he went back home, I went with my Father to collect my pants as I had to alter the overly long lengths.
Just now I just had my dinner and have to upload these Scrabble photos from my handphone. There is so hardly any time to do anything.
I will go and continue watching the show when I have done all my packing up. :)
