I will keep today's post short, because I am too tired and restless to even type.
I was late for Microeconomics lecture today by 10 minutes. The alarm practically woke me up and I just went back to sleep again. Then I woke up again and went back to sleep again. Finally I woke up and rushed to polytechnic.
Microeconomics lecture today is the same as last week's. The topic is interesting and easy to learn. I guess it is the application part that is difficult. After that, Zamir, Gintat, Andy and I went to North Canteen to eat and went to the library after that. I was supposed to do my AFA tutorial 5 but I ended up playing counterstrike. After that, we went for effective lesson and we were supposed to do research on our speech that is due on friday while according to register, we will have to go to another room where Miss Ang will let us know our results for the first ICA and also our mistakes and strong points. According to what she told me, my research and outline was well done. My area of improvement was that I should not be monotonous and should maintain eye contact with the audience.
After that we went to Microeconomics tutorial.
No competitor was at the timezone today. I topped up only $1 and played one game. After that, I left for home.
Tomorrow is the AFA ICA. Best of lucks to everybody!!

World Youth Scrabble Championship
Today's Statistics lecture ended quite early. During the break, Yong Yang, Zamir, Gintat, Fusen, Bryan, Andy and I went to North Canteen for early breakfast aka lunch. I did not eat anything though as I did not feel hungry.
After the lecture, we went for Html lessons. I am now the official typewriter for Miss Soh. Lol. She did not pay for my service though. Haha! Html is actually not that hard to learn. It just requires patience.
After Html lessons, Zamir, Gintat, Andy and I went to North Canteen for lunch. After that we went to North Wing Library and chatted there till lesson time. Principles of Management tutorial lesson was slightly better today. Mr Book's teaching today was rather favourable. I liked his teaching today. He also gave us the tutorial answers for tutorial 6, although he did not go through tutorial 5 at all. The tips for the ICA1 was given. Guess what? The final resolution is study everything! He tried to tell us what to study for the test but in the end, he just say out everything in the lecture notes. Well I guess that is better than nothing?Lol.
Today I played at the timezone with REEKOFAWESOMENESS and won his Lili but lost to his Julia. So what? It was a free game anyway. Some people just left after finishing one match. After that, I fought with Chun Kit's Lili and lost. I think I should really learn the air combos as soon as possible.
One message was received. It is the invitation to WYSCT, World Youth Scrabble Championship Tournament but I have to be excused on the 8,9 and 10 of December. During that period of time, I also have Statistics ICA1. Now I am baffled whether to go for the competition. Will I even be able to go? By going for the competition I will be representing Singapore and competing with other good players from other countries. I want to ask the Statistic tutor for advice before going. I had one good idea, which is taking the test on Monday.

Short Day aka Long Day
Today was pretty much a long day.
First up, we had Effective Oral Communications lesson for which I was late for approximately 36minutes. The lesson seemed to end pretty early and Justin, Meixuan, Joanne, An Qi, Jessica and I went down to buy some food to fill our stomaches. I bought Egg McMuffin for $2.60 which is like unexpectedly expensive for just a small burger.
After savouring the food, we had statistics tutorial. After statistics tutorial, Zamir, Yong Yang, Larry, Fusen, Andy, Gintat and I went to play basketball. I managed to control my fall during the game after the collision with Fusen. Andy came after we had played both matches. The sun was too hot and all of us were perspiring profusely. After that we went to Koufu to have our lunch. Before that we went to the auditorium to take our free coke, for which was given with some flyers. By the time we were on our way to the MRT Station, by the time we went down to the auditorium the free coke had already been given out entirely and the distributors were already gone. Was that fast? LOL.
The trip to the timezone was a fruitful one. I played with all kids today and won 29 games consecutively. There was one strange thing though. Why is there no promotion? I think that promotion to Mentor has nothing to do with the number of wins anymore. I think I have to challenge a card owner as well and win as many times to get promoted. Later on 1 person challenged me without using card and I lost twice in a row. Time to chao!
The trip to Causeway Point was a fruitone one. I went there with my parents at around 8pm. I just bought a new bag that costed $64. It seems weird to me as it has been a long time since I have ever carried a bag of both sides. Well I think it is still a matter of getting used to it. After that, I went to Popular to tour around and look for books while my Mother and Father went to buy some clothes. Causeway Point is closed at the timing 10pm. After buying the clothes from Giordano, we went for KFC. The idea of KFC seemed crazy as we had bought some curry puffs from Old Chang Kee and we might be too full to consume them after eating KFC. The sole purpose was family gathering and being able to spend time with your family is the greatest thing in the world that cannot be bought with anything, including money. The feeling was a bit dull without the existence of my sister who went for councillor camp and my brother who went for his graduation ceremony. Nevertheless we have enjoyed ourselves.
We reached home at approximately 11.22pm and here I am writing my post. The next thing to do is to revise my Html in preparation for tommorow lessons.

Microeconomics ICA1
As usual, I reached Polytechnic today on the dot. I dont like rushing to lessons or lectures all the time. From today onwards I am going to cultivate a good habit by sleeping early and waking up early. The topic 6 on Price Elasticity of Demand for Microeconomics lecture is long but understandable. I like the topic.
After that Zamir and I had a quick bite at North Canteen before going up to the library to study for Microeconomics ICA1. I like the feeling of studying together with friends and chionging for ICA! Yong Yang and Gintat went there to study straight after the lecture, skipping their lunch. Both Zamir and I had kway tiao for lunch that is bought from the Muslim stall. I cannot take chilli very well. A little of it will give me drops of perspiration all over the head. The soya bean milk that i bought kept my temperature down. It will always be my favourite drink.
We went to the tutorial room for Effective Oral Communication lesson and I had my first newspaper article presentation. It was unexpected successful as I thought that I had not prepared well enough. Miss Ang commented that I was too soft. Was I? I was unaware of that. I thought that I should be loud enough. The ICA2 for Effective Oral Communication will be due three weeks later, on the 14th December. I think I should start doing now.
Nextly was the worst thing, the Microeconomics ICA1. I knew that they wont be so stupid to let you attain 10% of the module that easily. I believe that those that can achieve distinctions in Microeconomic by the end of the semester are those that are really very good and put in lots of efforts to get the concepts well and practise well. Everybody seemed to be discussing the questions that came out after the ICA. Does anybody think that the ICA is very easy? Please tag your name in the tagboard and tell me now.
Distributing survey forms is not a hard thing to do. Fusen and I finished the job in less than 30 minutes. After that, Fusen went back with Larry and Bryan and I went to find Jessica in South Canteen. Michelle was also there with her.
After that, we went to Macdonalds and eat and chat at the same time. We left at 7.10pm and walked to the Mrt station. After reaching Yishun, I went to the timezone to play 2 games of Tekken 6 and went home after that.
Finally for the last activity of the day, it will be revision and sleeping time.
L.s: Never do last minute stuffs. The quality of the work is normally the worst.
L.s: It takes a lot of discipline for oneself to sit down and start studying. However, it is only a matter of getting used to it.

Sick of Tekken6
First up, I had KFC with my uncle today. The chicken thighs were not very tasty today and they were not fully cooked. I just kept on digging the parts where there were blood. After that, I went for a walk in Northpoint before meeting up with my auntie for some snacks at Yakun. We also had a long talk about the future prospects for accounting and she told me to study hard for my diploma and get good grades first before I can really talk about anything. Well she is right. We went to the disc promotion place to see which movies of the year have come out for DVDs.
After that I went to Timezone to play Tekken 6. Unknowingly, I found out a move which is quite useful for air combos. I still need practice on that kick. However I am still unable to form the continuous air combos. I am quite sick of the same kind of fighting style which is so lame and useless against real experts and quite sick of playing the game now. I will only go and play once in a week on Saturday from today onwards. I also saw the person that made my character demoted, the person who only know how to use counter when scared. His character name is Ye Calm and he uses the character Asuka. He has currently 730 plus wins and 660 plus losses. His rank now is 2nd dan, after two demotions. The last time, I helped him up till 4th dan. Now I know how people get exploited.
After playing his usual game, he just go to another part of the Timezone and wait for people to come and play Tekken6. Then, he will come and challenge them. Two boys got exploited. They just kept on losing but they did not stop playing against him. They lost $18.90 in total. I know there is the obsession there where people just cannot take losing and keep on playing. I also had the same experience once against the same old person Ye Calm. I wanted to remind the kids but I did not do that. Well I guess it is better for them to learn the lessons the hard way themselves, so they know when to go down and fight and when not to. I learned my lesson and did not go down and fight. I guess one person will get paranoid when their ranking is high, or rather you can say scared to play. I just stood there watching and saw the boys losing again and again. Wait till i master my air combos first, then i will take revenge for the both of you.
I went to buy dinner for my brother and sister after that at the nearby coffee shop. My parents are out for dinner.
After playing hard, next will be revision for the Microeconomics ICA1 on Monday. Honestly speaking, my confidence level in getting good grades for this ICA is extremely low.
